So in the spirit of making 2019 (and beyond) all about cycling, I may have just entered my first ever mountain bike race 😳 . Managed to get in early and nab one of the $20 entries to the @in_2_adventure Sunshine Coast MTB festival before they sold out. . I now have until the end of April to train for a 50km XC race around the Sunshine Coast Hinterland - hopefully this will be the first of many! Back at the beginning of October, a few days before I last fell ill and landed myself back in hospital, I went on a bit of a spending spree and kitted myself out with a pair of @fizikofficial Tempo road shoes, M6 MTB shoes and a set of @shimanomtb Deore XT pedals for the 29er. Haven’t had a chance to christen them until now - took the road shoes out for a spin today and they are definitely the goods - well worth the wait! My first foray into the world of @boafitsystem -equipped shoes and I’m loving them.
